The Aquamacs project now offers a preview of the much improved release 1.6 of its popular Emacs-based editor for the Mac. Release 1.6 will sport much improved font and color settings for individual documents (by major mode), improved zoom and full-screen editing functions, a command-line tool as well as the tabs to switch conveniently between multiple documents. Unix fans will love this release for its Emacs compatibility and mouse-frame switching features.
